The emblum on top says Michigan Normal School circa 1853. I been trying to find info about it . No luck. Would appricate any help given. Thanks,I have a oval gold or brass powder compact that i purchesed at an antique store .There is an emblum on top .?
See if eBay has anything similar listed. It could be quite valuable if it's in good condition. I have some compacts, circa 1930s and 40s, that are worth between $60 and $100 each.
